It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a remarkable woman, Mrs. Kathryn Lynn McHenry, who departed into her eternal home on November 10th, 2023, at the age of 62. Surrounded by the love of her family, Kathy transitioned peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and grace. 

Born on November 20th, 1960, Kathy graced the world with her presence in East Liverpool Ohio, born to Marcus Trough Jr and Mary Jeanette Walters Trough. Throughout her life, she exemplified the values of kindness, generosity, and resilience. Kathy was a beacon of light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Family was at the core of her being, and she approached each role with love, wisdom, and a nurturing spirit. Her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality, where laughter and love abounded. 

Kathy had an innate ability to connect with others, offering a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand. Her friendships were deep and enduring, a testament to her genuine and caring nature. She will be remembered for the countless lives she touched with her compassion. 

Proceeded in death by her parents Marcus Trough Jr, Mary Trough, half-sister Sherry Brock.

She is survived by her beloved husband Chester McHenry, her son Joshua McHenry, her daughter Tashina Fite (Chris), her sister Joyce Mei (Michael), and her three granddaughters Kaitlyn, Lacey, and Addison. 

A celebration of life to honor the memory of this extraordinary woman will be held on Kathy’s birthday, November 20th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St, Clover, SC 29710.  A gathering for family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.

As we say farewell to Kathy, let us cherish the memories of her love, wisdom, and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire and uplift us all.
