Ms. Kathy Yvonne Burton Christenbury, 65, of Clover, SC, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.

Ms. Christenbury was born June 9, 1958, in York, SC, to the late Thomas Jackson Burton, Jr. and Lena Lois Jenkins Burton. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jody Burton. She was a 1976 graduate of Clover High School.

She is survived by her three sons, Thomas Joseph Christenbury (Anita), Clover, SC, Troy Dean Christenbury (Danielle), Clover, SC, and Rusty Dakota “Cody” Millwood (Brandi), Clover, SC; her brothers, Buddy Burton (Ann), Lowell, NC, and Bobby Burton, Clover, SC; her five grandchildren, Zachary, Landon, Brayden, and Madison Christenbury and McKinley Millwood; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 25, 2023, at Bowling Green First Baptist Church, 1683 Hwy. 321 N., Clover, SC, with the Rev. Mitch Bolin officiating. Interment will be Lakeview Memory Gardens, 1774 Filbert Hwy., York, SC. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
