Mr. Kenneth George Ebben, age 93, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at his home in Clover, SC. He was born on February 22, 1933 in Little Chute, Wisconsin.
Ken is remembered for his easy sense of humor and infectious laugh, telling warn and funny stories of childhood, a deep love of butterscotch desserts and ice cream, and snipping comics from the newspaper to share with his family. His long career in analytics drove his personal passion for meticulously balancing his checkbook, and genuine enjoyment in doing his own taxes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan N. (Van Schindel) Ebben 1932-2007; parents, John and Florence (Peeters) Ebben; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Jackie) Ebben, Paul (Dori) Ebben, Gerald (Rita) Ebben, Von Ebben and Tom Ebben.
He is survived by his children, Sue (Greg) Cramsey, Amy White, and Rob Ebben; grandchildren Katie (Jeff) Buydos, Jenny Cramsey, Joey Cramsey, and Abby Hamilton; great grandchildren Eleanor Vallaro and Jesse Buydos; brother Ed Ebben; and sisters-in-law Char Marquardt and Mary Ebben.
Ken is to be interred with a brief private service by his request at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
