Lana Jenkins Linser passed away September 11th after a long battle with Parkinson’s Dementia. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia on March 6, 1948 to Madelone June White and Ray Melvin Titlow.
Lana was the much loved bar manager at The River Rat in Lake Wylie for 25 years. She was also quite renowned as hostess extraordinaire to decades of RV tailgating parties at various NASCAR events throughout the country.
Family visitation will be held on Monday, September 18th at 1 o’clock before a celebration service at 2 o’clock at M.L. Ford & Sons, Lake Wylie Location, 4820 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC. Interment service immediately following at River Hills/Lake Wylie Cemetery, 105 Hamilton's Ferry Road, Lake Wylie, SC.
Lana’s family wishes to invite all attendees to gather afterwards at Christopher’s Bar and Grill at 1500 Village Harbor Drive, Clover, SC for hors d'oeuvres and a wake.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Linser; a son, Mark McLaughlin of Denver, Colorado; sister, Kathy Courtemanche (Ron) of Cherryville; beloved niece, Amanda Alexander (Scott) of Amarillo, Texas; nephew, Nick Courtemanche of Asheville, NC; step-daughters: Cathy Anderson (Don) of Noblesville, Indiana; Cindy Henderson (Mark) of Charlotte, Lori Linser (Jill) of Charlotte, Shelley Blandford (Mason) of Charlotte, and Tonya Linser (Caesar) of Winston, Georgia; great nieces: Kyra, Layla and Willow; step grandchildren: Melissa Dziuba, Carey Anderson; Amy Stoner, Drew Blandford, Zack Blandford, Ryan Simpson, and Ian Henderson; and step great grandchildren: Ava, Jack, Ruby, Finn, Nova and Jaxon.
