Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Duane Hopper, 71, of Clover, SC, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Belaire Health Care Center, Gastonia, NC.

Mr. Hopper was born October 22, 1954 in Gastonia, NC to the late Robert Lee and Betty Riddile Hopper.  He was a retired machinist. 

Survivors are his sister, Kathy H. Currence (Willie), and brother, Robby Hopper all of Clover, SC.

Including his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Cherry.

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC with Mayme Long officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday night, July 10th at the home of his niece, Marie Spearman.
