Mrs. Leigh Monteith Joye, 56, of Clover, SC, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with the Rev. Mitchell Bolin officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Joye was born October 12, 1967 in Gastonia, NC to the late William Franklin and Annelle McClain Monteith.  She ran her own cleaning business and was the office manager for Joye’s Plumbing Company, in which she and her husband started together.

Leigh was a devoted wife and mother.  She enjoyed going to the mountains, the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren that she adored.

Survivors are her husband of 36 years, Samuel Scott Joye; son Samuel Brett Joye (Brooke); grandchildren Daniel Scott Joye and Carter Alexander Joye; brother Mike Monteith (Renee); nephew Will Monteith; niece Kelsey Coleman (David); and great nieces Macy and Caroline Coleman.
