Lillie Bell Farris Spearman was peacefully called home on September 19, 2025. She passed surrounded by loved ones at Spring Oak in York, SC.

Lillie was born June 18, 1928, to the late James Nathan Farris and Mary Bell Dover Farris. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, William “Bill” Spearman and twelve siblings.

Grateful for the time they had on earth with their mother are four children, Steve Spearman (Debbie) of Ninety Six, SC; Sheila Vines (Ned) of Elk Park, NC; Mary Spearman of Mountain City, TN; and Joe Spearman (Patty) of Clover, SC. Maw Maw leaves six grandchildren, Alan Spearman (Katie) of Clover, SC, Stacie Spearman of Clover, SC, Greg Spearman (Anna Kayla) of Ninety Six, SC, Nora Vines (Stergios) of Knoxville, TN, Angela Vines-Acosta (Kelvin) of Duluth, GA, and Leslie Williams of Anderson, SC. and twelve great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11:00 am. in Lakeview  Memory Gardens, 1774 Filbert Hwy., York, SC, with the Revs. Buddy Thomas and Greg Spearman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 am at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Clover, SC.
