Mrs. Florence Elizabeth “Liz” Rose Blanks, 73, of Dallas, NC, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas, NC.

Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the Legacy Church, 2316 Union Road, Gastonia, NC.  The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. before the service at the Church.  Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in the U. S. National Veterans Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.

Mrs. Blanks was born May 11, 1951 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Clarence and Florence Anderson Rose.  She was retired from Bellsouth.

Survivors are her husband Jimmie Dewayne Blanks; daughters Christina Standridge of Gastonia, NC, Angelia Calvert of Belmont, NC, and April Justice of Lincolnton, NC; son Brian Phillips of Locust, NC; sister Peggy McCarter of Lake Wylie, SC; brother Donnie Rose of Kings Mountain, NC; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Robin Johnson Hospice House, 5005 Shepard's Way Dr., Dallas, NC 28034.
