Mr. Louis Fertinant Kuchenbrod, 91, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Lake Wylie Assisted Living, Lake Wylie, SC.  Before relocating to Lake Wylie, he resided on Hilton Head Island, SC.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Kuchenbrod was born February 10, 1932 in Newark, NJ to the late Aloys and Ludwina Heinickel Kuchenbrod.  Louis proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War and then had a 45 year career with Singer-Kearfott.

Mr. Kuchenbrod was preceded in death by his wife, Joan McGough Kuchenbrod and a son, Louis Kuchenbrod.

Survivors are his daughters Diane Heitmann and Kristine Ciafone; sons Keith Kuchenbrod and Kurt Kuchenbrod along with their spouses; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Lake Wylie Assisted Living and Hospice of Charlotte for the exceptional care he received.
