Mrs. Margery Lynn (Deardorff) Heil, 70, of Clover, SC, passed away July 24, 2024, at her home.

Services will be private.

Margery was born June 13, 1954 in Spencer, Iowa, to the late Virgil Francis and Margaret (Becker) Deardorff. She grew up on a farm near Royal Iowa, loved farming and working with the land.  She was a friend to any animal, especially horses.  She was a devoted Christian with a kind, tenacious, and compassionate heart. She raised two sons that she was proud of and loved with all her heart.  She will be greatly missed by all who had a chance to meet her. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Heil; her sisters: Patricia of Nebraska and Mary Lou of Iowa.  Her two sons: Nicholas Mozena (Cleo) of Gresham, OR and Bryan Hurd (Heather) of Clover, SC.  Her four stepchildren and seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren between David and Margery’s blended families.
