Mrs. Marilyn White Hurley, (59) of York, SC passed in her home on Thursday, November 30th, 2023.

A visitation will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at the Hurley House at 4 p.m.

Mrs. Hurley was born May 18, 1964, in Montclair, NJ to the late Robert Joseph and Marilyn Simister White. Survived by her family, her husband of 30 years, Christopher James Hurley; daughter Megan Taylor Hurley; sons Eric Mitchell Hurley (Corey), Zackary Gavin Hurley, and Matthew James Hurley; sisters Susan Jacob (Jerry) and Jamie Marini (Chris); and brothers Phillip White (Cheryl) and Anthony White.

Marilyn Hurley was a beautiful, kind, and caring soul with an enormous heart towards her family and friends. She made her house a home for all and it didn’t just stop at her doorstep. Taking her knowledge from being a record holding athlete at Hopatcong High, Marilyn coached her kids sports teams into championship wins and successful seasons. Off the court and field, she took care of everyone as one her own kids. She was a mentor to many, along with being a friend for life who would always listen.
