Mr. Marshall Lindsay Pursley, Jr., 58, of Clover, SC, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, in Blacksburg, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at M. L. Ford & Sons, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC.

Lindsay was born December 18, 1965, in Gastonia, NC, to Catherine Ferguson Pursley and the late Marshall Lindsay “Kit” Pursley, Sr.

Lindsay was a loving father and selfless family man who enjoyed spending his time with family, working out, and studying psychology and physical fitness. He loved to share his knowledge and treated every difficulty as an opportunity to learn or teach. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by a grandson Jace Marshall Pursley.

He is survived by his sons, Justin Lindsay Pursley (Holly), Donald Jordan Pursley, and Patrick Dylan Pursley (Kristin); his mother, Catherine Ferguson Pursley; his sisters, Scott Pursley Wallace and Ginger Pursley Bowman (W. Todd); his grandchildren, Addison Inez Pursley, Donald Dale Pursley, George Liam Pursley, Emma Kit Pursley, and one on the way, Birdie Cordelia Forbes Pursley; and the  mother of his children, Beth Harris Pursley.
