Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Adams Rhyne, 93, of York, SC, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at home.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Benjamin Glaser and Rev. Dan Sullivan officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The Church requires everyone to wear a mask and social distance.

Mrs. Rhyne was born September 27, 1926 in Gaston County, NC to the late Samuel Newton Adams, Sr. & Susan Jane Lytton Adams.  She was the widow of Lawrence W. Rhyne, Sr. and retired from Bell South. 

Survivors are her daughter Susan R. Pursley (Steve) of York, SC; son Lawrence W. Rhyne, Jr. (Margaret) of Clover, SC; grandchildren Jennifer Marie Pursley, Kyle Pursley (Lauren), Anna Rhyne; and great grandchildren Carter & Jax Pursley.
