Frances Maxine McCarley Wells went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, March 12, 2018.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC. Interment will be in Bethany A.R.P. Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Tuesday night at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home and other times at 1154 Strawberry Patch Road, York, SC.

Mrs. Wells was born January 2, 1935 in Cherokee County, SC to the late John Henry and Martha Beatrice Martin McCarley.  She was married December 21, 1959 to the late Johnnie C. Wells. Mrs. Wells worked for the Clover School District for 18 years in the cafeteria.  She was a devoted wife and mother.

Survivors are her children Debora W. Lingerfelt (Donald), Patricia Wells, Johnnie C. Wells, Ronald C. Wells, Tim Wells (Lorie); five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
