Mr. Melton Lawrence “Larry” Wall, Jr., 65, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Wall was born April 20, 1961, in Newberry, SC to the late Melton Lawrence and Geneva Harmon Wall.  He retired as Director of Cherokee County Social Services and was a 1984 graduate of Clemson University.

An avid Clemson football fan, Larry and his family could be found on many fall Saturdays in Death Valley cheering on the Tigers. When the weather was nice, Larry enjoyed sitting outside, in his chair, either throwing the tennis balls for his “4-legged” children Phil and Lil or riding all the roads of the area on his Harley.

Survivors are his wife Melanie Quinn Wall; sons Joshua L. Wall (Bob) of Bluffton, SC, Tyler Jackson Wall (Kiley) of Morgantown, IN, William Zach Wall (Kristin) of Clover; sister Bonnie W. Gramling (Henry) of Gramling, SC and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at First United Methodist Church, Clover conducted by the Rev. William L. Barron.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church atrium.
