Mrs. Mildred Loujean Bowman White Haywood, 88, of Clover, SC, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, NC.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2024, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC. Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16th at M. L. Ford & Sons, Clover, SC.
Mrs. Haywood was born September 8, 1936, in Newhall, WV to the late Garland Wade and Maudie Agnes Bowman Bowman. She was the widow of Floyd Walter White and Ernest Haywood. Mildred loved watching The Walton’s and the game show network, especially the Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and enjoyed reading her Bible.
She was preceded in death by sons Gary Walter White and Roger White, sisters Patty Brown, Mary Collins, Lorraine Tucker, and Jane Rose, brother, Ronnie Bowman, and granddaughter, Shelby Taylor White.
Survivors are her daughters Mary Agnes White of Villa Rica, GA and Jackie White; son John Floyd White of Clover, SC; sisters Shirley Query and Louise Wykes; brothers Garland Douglas Bowman and Larry Curtis Bowman; grandchildren Kyle A. White, Tiffany A. White, Michael White, Jennifer White, Justin Hyatt, Courtney Feeser, Renee Reaves, James Evans, Candy King, Gayle Evans, Shannon Corbin, and Roger White, Jr.; great god children Megan Tindol and Sabrina “Sans” Tumlin; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
