Paula Marie Kennedy Couch, age 82, of Fort Mill, SC, formerly of Vestal, NY passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Philadelphia United Methodist Church, 1691 Highway 160 W., Fort Mill, SC. The family will receive friends at Mrs. Couch’s residence following the service.

Paula was born on July 4, 1939, in Blakely, PA, to the late Willis R. and Henrietta F. Farr Kennedy. She was preceded by her loving husband of 53 years, Wilfred R. Couch. 

Paula is survived by her son, Lance E. Couch and daughter Paige A. Williams both of Fort Mill; grandsons, Travis Couch (Fort Mill), Tyler Couch (Rochester, NY) and Walker Williams (Fort Mill); and sisters, Cheryn Kloss (Westlake, OH) and Kathy Spence (Weed, NM), as well as niece and nephew and a few close cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Care Hospice for their loving care that allowed her to remain at home. 

Mrs. Couch will be laid to rest courtesy of the U.S. Navy with a ceremonial burial at sea to be with her beloved husband.
