Mrs. Peggy Ann Snipes Watts, 79, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, after a lengthy illness.
Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 1774 Filbert Hwy., York, SC with the Rev. Mark Miller and Rev. Calvin Draffin officiating.
Mrs. Watts was born December 11, 1944, in Gastonia, NC, to the late H. B. Snipes, Sr. and Edith Ammons Snipes. She was a retired tax accountant and a member of the Clover A. R. P. Church.
Mrs. Watts was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Thomas L. Watts; daughter Leslie Armstrong (Eric); grandson Zeke Armstrong; sister Gerri Goforth; brother Danny Whitener; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, A. H. Whitener, sisters, Edith Long, Willie Lunsford, Louise Sistare, and brothers, James D. “Bud” Snipes and Hubert Snipes.
