On July 4, 2019, Peter’s loving soul entered into eternity.

He survived by his parents Mike & Sue Thompson, daughters Ana and Georgia, brother Ben (Dana), sister Maggy (Bobby), loving niece Maylee and loving nephews Tanner, Dawson & Mikey.

Peter loved his family and adored his daughters. He loved Gatlinburg, TN where he proudly worked as a firefighter and advanced EMT. He loved the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and served his community during the 2016 Smoky Mountain Wildfires. He’s currently honored for his services at the Wildfire Memorial at the top of Anakeesta Mountain in Gatlinburg.

Peter loved photography and loved to capture the beauty of nature and life’s beautiful moments. He touched the lives of everyone he encountered with his genuine care for people and infectious laugh.

The family will receive visitors at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover, SC from 6:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 9. A memorial service will be held in Tennessee at a later date.
