Ms. Polly Elaine Stewart Cobb, 74, of Clover, SC, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 surrounded by her family at home.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2040 Highway 161, York, SC with the Rev. Leo Marwat officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Ms. Cobb was born November 20, 1950 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Bobby Stewart and Iris Whitesides Thomas.

She was preceded in death by daughters, Rebecca Elaine Cobb and Ginger Mae Cobb and a great niece, Millie Kate Brackett.

Survivors are her husband Danny Hawkins; son Mark Eugene Cobb of Bessemer City, NC; daughter Sonda Marie Cobb Horton of York, SC; grandchildren Amber Barnes, Hailey Barnes, Chad Barnes, Chase Barnes, Matthew Cobb, Luke Ruffin, Gracie Ruffin, and Jacob Willis; great grandchildren Savannah Barnes, Miley Barnes, Memphis Cobb, and Gunnar Barnes; sister-in-law Shirley Brackett; brother-in-law Dennis Hawkins; niece & nephews Lawson Gray (Kenny), Brice Brackett (Cassie) and Brett Brackett (Stacie); great nieces & great nephews Avery Brackett, Boyd Brackett, George Brackett, Marshall Brackett, Kix Gray, and Kennedy Gray; and extended family Tom and Elizabeth Carlisle.
