R. Michael Phillips, 70, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at home.

Michael was born May 21, 1954, in Burlington, NJ, to Concetta Zito Phillips and the late Ralph Edward Phillips.  He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Quinn Michael Phillips.

Michael was a very fine artist.  Since retiring to Clover in 2019, he exhibited and sold his artwork throughout North and South Carolina.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Janice Corbin Christie Phillips; his son, Christopher Wesley Phillips, and wife Bonny, Bethel Park, PA; his mother, Concetta Zito Phillips; his sisters, Debra Holloman and Nina Kalick (Tom); and his grandchild on the way.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
