Mr. Raymond Lee Easler, 82, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who had a deep and abiding faith in God. His life was a testimony of his strong belief in the Lord and his unwavering love for his family.

Raymond was born May 24, 1943, in Gastonia, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgina Turner Stewart and William Tracy Stewart, and his brother, Bill Stewart.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Helen Cook Easler; his sons, Michael Lee Easler (Susan) of Clover, SC, and Timothy Shane Easler (Christy) of Chapin, SC; his daughter, Traci Easler Bratton (Royce) of Clover, SC; his sister, Carol Russell; and his brothers, Ronnie Stewart and Dennis Stewart (Debbie). He was the proud grandfather of Courtney Bratton Franco (Jared), Clayton Ross Bratton, Caleb Park Bratton (Kristany), Austin Lee Easler, Ethan Frank Dover, and Mason Briggs Easler; and the cherished great-grandfather of Paul Franco, Lawson Franco, Hudson Franco, and Willow Grace Bratton.

Raymond found great joy in life. He enjoyed dancing, watching football, traveling to both the mountains and the beach, and spending time with family and friends. He also had a fondness for classic cars, which brought him much enjoyment. A man of deep faith, he served his church through the years as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher, touching many lives through his example, wisdom, and love for God’s Word.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and social worker with hospice for their kindness, care, and support during Raymond’s final days.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens, 1744 Filbert Hwy., York, SC.
