Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Jane Little Rath, 67, of York, SC, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Atrium Health, Pineville, NC surrounded by her family.

Services will be private.

Becky was born January 7, 1957 in Welland, Ontario, Canada to the late Edgar and Annette Bartkieu Little. 

Survivors are her husband of 45 years, Douglas “Doug” John Rath; daughters Amber Stern (Matthew) of York, SC and Heather Brown (Andrew) of Evergreen, CO; son Kyle Rath (Laura) of Clover, SC; grandchildren Ryne, Lincoln, Indiana, Bodhi, Charlie, Wyatt, and Penelope; sister Jill Nelson, (Gary); and brother Rick Little (Becky).

Becky embodied a beautiful balance of gentleness and strength. Her world unquestionably revolved around her family. She was incredibly thoughtful, ensuring everyone felt remembered and loved. Her gifts weren't just presents, they were tokens of her deep understanding and love, creating memories that would forever be treasured. Those lucky enough to know her well, are familiar with her quiet humor and subtle wit that kept everyone around her laughing. Becky leaves behind a legacy of love and will be deeply missed.
