Mrs. Rhonda Ann Hammond, 65, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at home.

A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 at M. L. Ford & Sons, 4820 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC. with the Rev. Bobby Hussey officiating.

Mrs. Hammond was born October 16, 1955 in Charlotte, NC to Nora Dell Pickens Harris and the late James Edwin Hammond. She was the owner of Hammond Insurance & Financial Services and also graduated with honors from Queens College. 

Survivors are her husband Thomas Barker, Jr; sons, Shane Barker (Julie) of Gastonia, NC, Shane Hammond (Robin) of Charlotte, NC; mother, Nora P. Harris of Tega Cay, SC; sister, Gloria Correll of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Chase, Caleb & Chloe Barker, Colt & Taylor Hammond; and fur babies, Thunder & River.
