Born September 5, 1934, in Morgantown, WV, to the late Paul Richard Sarver and Georgia Orlick. He led some of the Navy’s first-of-their-kind computer systems implementations, advancing the field of military computing and playing a pivotal role in the technological modernization of Navy operations in Washington, D.C.
While his professional legacy continues to impact generations, his most enduring devotion was to his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary Minerva Sarver.
