Mr. Richard Kent Faris, 72, of Clover, SC, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at CaroMont Regional, Gastonia, NC.

The family will receive friends at their home, Saturday, August 16th from 11:00 am to 2:00 p.m.   “Please come join us to remember the most loving, most wonderful man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.” 

Mr. Faris was born December 19, 1952 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Robert Leslie Faris and Ina Lee Adams Faris.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a part owner of Clover Tool.  Rick was a coach for the Gaston Young Guns Shotgun Team and he loved every minute he spent helping the kids. 

Survivors are his wife of 27 years, Mary Beth Myers Faris; sons Charles Armstrong and Stephen Gibson; sister Judy F. Falls; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph "Bud" Faris and Bobby Joe Faris.
