Mr. Robert Albert Birkenbach, 55, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Atrium Health, Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Birkenbach was born December 21, 1968, in Riverside, NJ to the late Robert Norman and Kathleen Roark Birkenbach. He was raised in Mount Laurel, NJ and attended Lenape High School before graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia University in 1991. He moved to the Carolinas in 1994 where he began his career as a Project Manager/Estimator in the roofing industry. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating, golfing, and watching all of his favorite Philadelphia and Carolina sports teams.

He is survived by his son, Wade; the mother of his son, Janine; step-sisters, Linda, Mimi, and Heidi; and his partner Marianne.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home 4820 Charlotte Hwy., Lake Wylie, SC.
