Mr. Rufus “Roe” Monroe Inman, II, 63, of York, South Carolina, passed away at his home March 15, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22, at the First Presbyterian Church of York, 10 West Liberty Street, York, SC.
Born February 27, 1960, Roe was the son of the late Claude Monroe Inman, II and Elizabeth Anne Sandifer Inman. He was a graduate of York High School and Clemson University. He successfully owned and operated Inman Brothers Appraisals for over twenty years. He spent decades restoring the family home, the peach packing shed, and the numerous outbuildings and surrounding property that comprised his family’s farm of four generations. Roe loved family history, tractors, his family of friends at the York YMCA, and all things Clemson.
Roe was a member of First Presbyterian Church of York, where he served as a deacon.
Roe is survived by his four siblings, Jane Anne Royal (Gil) of Aiken, SC; Carroll Vernon (Riley) of Waynesville, NC; Susan Hill (Mike) of York, SC; and Bill Inman (Mimi) of Aiken, SC; his extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins; and his wife, Regina Pinson Inman and her children.

Let Roe’s legacy be that we must learn to accept ourselves and embrace others, regardless of flaws and imperfections, because all we really have is love.
