Mr. Ryan Edward Young, 50, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 surrounded by his family in Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC.

Ryan was born October 9, 1973 in Farmville, VA. He was preceded in death by his father, David Clyburn Young and his grandfathers Ralph Young and Don Troup.

Ryan was the owner of Indocil Art, Rock Hill, SC. Well-known in the racing community for his talent as a helmet painter, he touched the lives of many people worldwide both as an artist and a friend.  He left an indelible mark on this community and all who knew him.  Friends and family will remember him for his quick and clever sense of humor, his stories, his compassion for everyone and his unwavering commitment to the things he valued most: his family, friends and loved ones, his business and making the world a better, more beautiful place. 

He is survived by his son, Cameron Young; daughter Carlee Young; mother Penny Lester Young; sister Kelly Young; grandmothers Jo Young and Pat Troup; girlfriend Veronica Gomez and her children, Ethan and Carmen Terrana.

Services will be held at a later time and arrangements will be announced once they are completed.
