Sally Hartwell Groves, 69, of Clover, SC, formerly of Lowell, NC, passed away August 31, 2023, at home surrounded by family. Sally loved her family and all animals, especially horses, which were a lifelong passion.  

Sally was born August 10, 1954, daughter of Mary Hartwell Ely Groves and Barron Glenn Groves.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Hartwell Wilson and two sisters, Mary Craig Jackson and Louise Glenn Pack.

Survivors include her four children, Leigh Coleman (Michael), David McAllister, Devon Parmley (Andrew) and Joe Corn; six grandchildren, Connor Beach, Brooke McAllister (Ross Almond), Laney Coleman, Mason Ward, Seth Coleman and Jaxon Parmley; her companion and best friend, Michael Quilliams; her sister, Marilyn Rickmond (Ted); her cousins, Lars Ely and Courtney Childs; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Maggie Blevins, Beth Jenkins, Lacey Pack, Bucky Pack, and their beautiful families.

A celebration of her life will be held September 9, 2023, at McAdenville Baptist Church.  Please join us at 12pm for Visitation followed by a 1pm Memorial Service.
