Sandra Lee Craig McIlhinney, 80 of Ocean City, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2023 shortly after a last visit at her bedside with her two sons, Patrick and Sean.

Sandi was born on March 16, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Jared W. "Bud," and Lillian Parry Craig.   

Sandi was tougher than any NFL player, funnier than Jerry Seinfeld, and sweeter than Dolly Parton!

She is survived by her sons, Patrick Craig McIlhinney (Lisa) of Charlotte, NC and Sean Joseph McIlhinney (Heather) of Johns Creek, GA; seven grandchildren; Patrick, Matthew, Molly, Connor, McKeith, Julian, and Julia, all of whom she dearly loved. 

She was the widow of Francis Patrick McIlhinney whom she was married to for 57 years and was the love of her life! 

The other loves of her life were her sister, Linda Morehead and her brother, Jerald Craig whom both predeceased her; sisters-in-law, Eileen McIlhinney and Joan Malatesta; her friends at Ocean Colony down at the shore; her Wexford Leas friends, her neighborhood home of 46 years; her family pets throughout her lifetime including Maggie, Pamie, Kasey, Smokey, Shorty, Duke, and Duke 2; collecting and giving Christmas ornaments as gifts; taking cruises to the Caribbean; winters in Florida; and spending time at the beach, pool, and boardwalk in Ocean City. 

Sandi was loved by many people and will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to be a part of her circle.
