Scott Wallace Obituary

Ms. Scott Pursley Wallace, 66, of Clover, passed away on Thursday, July, 16th 2026.

Scott never met a stranger. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, loved, and valued. Whether she was offering a listening ear, words of encouragement, or a helping hand, she gave freely of her time and heart

Scott's relationship with God was at the heart of who she was. She leaned on the Lord for strength during difficult times and gave Him thanks during life's many blessings. Through every challenge she faced, Scott's trust in God never wavered, and her faith was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.

Everyone who knew Scott knew that family was everything to her and if you had a spare minute, she would gladly spend it sharing stories about her loved ones.  She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.  Scott's loved being Brandon's mom and was the kind of mom who made life fun.  Whether it was a spontaneous road trip or simply finding something fun to do, Scott had a special gift for making every moment memorable.  Known affectionately as the "fun aunt," she filled the lives of her nieces and nephews with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. Her family will forever carry with them precious memories of laughter, warmth, and unconditional love.

Scott loved serving on the board of the Rock Hill chapter of United Way and sharing all the amazing things they do for the community. She retired from Duke Energy Catawba Nuclear Station after 40 years of dedicated service.

Scott was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Lindsay "Kit" Pursley; her brother, Marshall Lindsay Pursley, Jr.; her great-nephew, Jace Lindsay Pursley; and her great-niece, Birdie Forbes Pursley.
