Mrs. Shirley Jean Kale LeRoy, 79, of Clover, SC, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2023 at home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church, 124 Bethel Street, Clover, SC with the Rev. Tresco Shannon officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the Church.

Mrs. LeRoy was born August 7, 1944 in Bowling Green, SC to the late Leroy and Annie Mae Howard Kale.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. LeRoy and brother, William “Bud” Kale.

Shirley would like to let everyone know her ride here on earth is over and she loved every minute of it and loved everyone she meet along the way.  She was always happy as long as those around her were happy. Shirley has played her last song, danced her last dance, made her last call and went on trips with loved ones.  She loved being involved with Boy Scout Troop 37 for many years.  She enjoyed the dinners and trips.  Shirley lived and loved life with all of us and now she is riding with loved ones who have already gone home.

Survivors are her daughter Lisa L. Wright (Mike); son Gregory W. LeRoy both of Clover, SC; sister Lee Jones; grandchildren Michael Brian Litton, II (Holly) and Alexis Hughes Roberts (Lance); great grandchildren Caleb Litton and Lyla Litton; sister-in-law Buddie Kale; and brother-in-law Terry LeRoy (Wayne).
