Ms. Sondra Wallace, Earle, 60, of Clover, SC, passed away Friday, April 26, 2025 at Atrium Health, Charlotte, NC.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC.
Sondra was born June 12, 1964 in Rock Hill, SC to Carol Paxton Hicks and the late Edward Michael Wallace. She graduated from Clover High School and York Technical College before embarking on a dedicated career as a registered nurse. Throughout her career, Sondra made a profound impact in the operating room, notably as part of the liver transplant team, and later, managing a dialysis clinic.
Sondra had a passion for cooking, gardening, and most importantly, spending cherished moments with her family. She loved deeply and fiercely-often on her own terms. If Sondra loved you, it was unmistakable and eternal. She marched unapologetically to the beat of her own drum, and anyone fortunate enough to have met her knows exactly what that means.
We will miss her tremendously. Until we meet again, Sondra, we love you.
Survivors are her daughter Taylor L. Manor; son-in-law Graham Manor; and granddaughter Stevie Blair Manor all of Chattanooga, TN; mother Carol “Butch” Paxton Hicks of Clover, SC; step-father “Pop” Lewis W. Hicks; sister Treva Hicks; and nephew Garrett all of York, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 www.stjude.org .
