Mr. Stephen Lyle Ricks, 74, of Smyrna, SC, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Heath Springs Care Center, Lancaster, SC.

Mr. Ricks was born March 16, 1951 in York, SC to the late Jack Martin Ricks, Sr. and Evelyn McSwain Ricks.

He was retired from Arvin Meritor and was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Sandra Renee Ramsey Ricks, sister, Jane Biggers, and brother Jack Martin Ricks, Jr.

Survivors are his son Stephen Clay Ricks (Nora) of York, SC, and grandchildren Shelley Ricks, Benjamin Ricks, and Andrew Ricks.

Services will be private.
