Ms. Patricia Ann “Sue” Stewart Ammons, 71, of Clover, SC, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, SC.

Ms. Ammons was born May 27, 1953 in York, SC to the late Mary Stewart Childers.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Shawn Ammons, and brothers, Rick Stewart and Eddie Childers.

Survivors are her husband, Herbert Samuel “Sammy” Tate; son Harvey Daniel “Danny” Ammons, Jr. of Blacksburg, SC; daughter Brandy Nicole “Niki” Schuhlein of Smyrna, SC; sisters Brenda Ammons, Gayle Ivey, Audrey Henry, Ann Currie, and Frances Harris; brother Lee Childers; and work brother Eddie Dillingham
