Mr. Theodore Wilson Tilghman “Ted”, 86, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 at Lake Wylie Assisted Living., Lake Wylie, SC.

Services will be private and held at a later date.

Mr. Tilghman was born November 16, 1938 in Rocky Mount, NC to the late Theodore Wilson Tilghman Jr. and Winifred Mayo Mangum. Ted was a U. S. Air Force Veteran.

He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Tilghman, brothers, Michael Tilghman and William Tilghman, and a sister, Betsy T. Hicks.

Survivors are his daughter Sherri Lynch (Tim) of Round Rock, TX; sons Mark Tilghman of Fredericksburg, VA and Eric Tilghman (Victoria) of Huntersville, NC; six grandchildren Katey, Taylor, Dustin, Megan, James and Kayla; brother Jay Tilghman; and sister Nancy T. Hunt.
