Terry Kenneth Rosell passed on unexpectedly at his summer home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina on August 13th, 2021.
Born September 7, 1951, he was a son of the late Viola May Rosell (Hebner) and Richard Julian Rosell. Terry was raised in Cattaraugus NY and moved to New Jersey as a young man to pursue a welding career. Later, Terry and his older brother, Dick Rosell, started a mechanical contracting company in New York City and through hard work and perseverance became very successful.
Terry loved spending time visiting with family and always stayed in touch with them. He was a great partner, amazing father, generous friend, smart businessman, respected leader, and a wise investor. Golfing and fishing were his favorite pastimes, and he spent his last decades thoroughly enjoying his time in the Carolinas and Florida. Never one to sit still, Terry lived fully to his last moment.
He is survived by his love Patty Long; sons Todd Rosell and his wife Kim, Matthew Rosell and his wife Jocelynn, and James Rosell; granddaughters Ashley, Megan, Lauren, and Caitlyn; great-grandson Alexander; brothers Dick and Dale; sisters Marlene, Gail, and Bonnie; beloved nieces and nephews; and many close friends. He will forever be remembered, respected, and loved.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at the home of his sister Gail Burroughs at 2:00 on Saturday, August 28th, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Terry’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 stjude.org
