Mr. Thomas Lee Gelder, 80, of Clover, SC, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, SC.

Services will be held at a later time.

Mr. Gelder was born January 3, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Clarence W. Gelder and Ann Marie Haase Gelder.

Tom graduated from 71 High School in Fayetteville, NC in 1963 and graduated from The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1968.  He was General Manager of Southern Concrete in Charlotte, NC before starting his own business in Lake Wylie, SC.

Survivors are his wife Marianne McGlohon Gelder.

Tom and Marianne enjoyed 45 years of marriage.  Tom had a passion for antique cars, loved boating, Nascar, horse racing, and horses. He loved Tar Heel sports and was a true Tar Heel.
