Mr. Thomas Guy Potter, 79, of York, SC, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, 5766 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC with the Rev. Lewis Gunn officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens with Military Honors.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am before the service at the Church.

Mr. Potter was born January 20, 1945 in Monroe, LA to the late Orville Potter and Mary Trezavant.  He retired from the U. S. Army after 20 years of service. Following retirement, he was employed with Walmart.

Survivors are his wife Sun T Ho Potter; daughters Mary Guidry (Daniel) of Basile, LA and Lori Craighead (Eric) of Farmerville, LA; sons Thomas M. Potter (Regina) of Spartanburg, SC and David Potter of Basile, LA; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
