Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Bryan Ipock, III, 84, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Tommy was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church in Gastonia. A faithful Christian, he found great joy in serving his church and community. Over the years, he served as a deacon in several churches and contributed his talents in audio ministry. He also had a deep passion for music, especially playing the organ. He and his late wife, Ann, shared a love of music and often played the organ and piano together in church programs. Tommy cherished time spent in fellowship with family and friends. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, South Carolina, with Rev. Steve Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Clover. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Tommy was born on March 29, 1942, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Thomas Bryan Ipock, Jr. and Valda Hartsell Ipock. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Ann Hopper Ipock; his son, Timothy Keith Beaver; and his brothers, James Franklin Ipock and Donald Eugene Ipock.
He is survived by his stepdaughters, Debra Lynn Preston (Neil) of Gastonia and Renee Peeler (Roger) of Dallas, North Carolina; his stepson, Dwayne Beaver (Stephanie) of Dallas, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Chris Goodwin (Elaine), Jessica Beaver, Brooke Jenkins (Matt), Brandon Beaver, Brad Beaver (Brianna), Brittany Peeler, and Tyler Peeler; his great-grandchildren, Hayden Goodwin, Reagan Goodwin, Kara Jenkins, Tucker Jenkins, and Wade Beaver; and his brothers, Robert Ipock (Beverly) and Vance Ipock (Anne).
M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover, South Carolina, is serving the Ipock family.
