It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Jimerson Todd Hagood, 57, of Clover, SC, announces his passing on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Atrium Health, Pineville, NC. He passed with his sons by his side, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.

Mr. Hagood was born November 9, 1963 in Greenville, SC to Cecil “Pete” Hagood and the late Ruth Drummond Hagood. He grew up in Greenwood, SC and Lancaster, SC and later resided in Charlotte, NC before settling in Clover, SC.

Survivors are his sons, Steven C. Hagood and Matthew T. Hagood both of Lake Wylie, SC; one granddaughter, Haven L. Hagood, of Seneca, SC; father, Cecil “Pete” Hagood of Greer, SC; three sisters, CiCi H. McCorkell of Dunedin, FL, Mandy H. Koehler of Statesboro, GA, and Sonya H. Prince of Calhoun Falls, SC; and his first love and mother of his sons, Lisa Hagood of Lake Wylie, SC.

His sons and granddaughter were his pride and joy. Todd had a true zest for life, and his smile and sense of humor could brighten any day. He was always happiest when spending time with his family and friends but also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing, and camping.

 A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends later this spring. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill for their care and compassion.
