Mrs. Tommie Owens McDavid, 57, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Levine Dickson Hospice House, Charlotte, NC.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Yorkwood Church of God, 405 Stagecoach Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052 with the Rev. Vernon Adams officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at M. L. Ford & Sons, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.

Mrs. McDavid was born December 20, 1963 in Gastonia, NC to Thomas Edward Owens and the late Margaret Ann Latimer Owens.

Tommie was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was a lifelong and active member of Yorkwood Church of God. She was involved in various ministries and loved to serve through cooking and baking for others.

Survivors are her husband, Bruce Edward McDavid of Clover, SC; daughter, Alexandria Gabrielle McDavid of Clover, SC; son, William Nathaniel McDavid of Charlotte, NC; father, Thomas Edward Owens of Clover, SC; sisters, Nancy Deal (Rick) of Gastonia, NC and Angela Newell (Ken) of Clover, SC.
