Obituary

 

Mrs. Virginia Louise Sandberg Wilkins, 79, of Clover, SC, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Atrium Pineville.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Journey of Lake Wylie, 5415 Highway 557, Lake Wylie, SC with the Rev. Kenny Ashley officiating. 

Mrs. Wilkins was born May 9, 1944, in Glen Ridge, NJ to the late Arvid and Doris Prahst Sandberg.

Nothing made her happier than being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors are her husband of 40 years, Gary William Wilkins; children Kimberly Smith (Mick) of AZ, Michael Wilkins (Tammy) of AZ, Glenn Landin (Kelly) of AZ, John Landin of AZ, Scott Wilkins (Heather) of NY, Christal Wilkins of PA, Charles Landin of AZ, Laura Endean (Michael) of SC, Faith Brady (Scott) of CO, Shane Wilkins (Marci) of TX, and Tiffany Alexander (Rick) of FL; sisters Judi Janeka and Joy Gorgas; thirty six grandchildren; forty one great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Sandberg.
