Mr. Wayne Langdon Witt, 88, of Clover, SC died Thursday, June 25, 2026 at home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Witt was born May 27, 1938 in Lake City, FL to the late Langdon Lawson Witt and Grace Marie Criswell Witt.  He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and retired from McDonald Douglas Aircraft.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Eleanor Altman Witt.

Survivors are his daughters Deborah Marie Marckini (Jeff) of Grand Rapids, MI and Linda Carol Cook of Clover, SC; grandchildren Jacob Marckini (Darcy) of Grand Rapids, MI, Nathan Marckini of Raleigh, NC, and Ellie Nicole Cook of Clover, SC; great grandchildren Cole Marckini and Elena Marckini of Grand Rapids, MI; and sister Carol Marie Reeves of Lake City, FL.

A funeral service will be 11:00 Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the Clover A. R. P. Church, 127 Kings Mountain St., Clover, SC with the Rev. Mark Miller and Rev. Calvin Draffin officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the Church sanctuary.

Interment with military honors will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
