OBITUARY NOTICE: Wendy M. Reed, Davidson, NC

Mrs. Wendy Morgan Reed, 82, of Davidson, NC, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Levine Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Reed was the beloved daughter to the late Edwin Kennedy and Morgan Meyer Morgan born September 3, 1942 in New York City, NY.

She is the widow of the late John Lawrence Reed, with whom she shared cherished memories in Guilford, CT, Ann Arbor, MI and Jacksonville, FL.

After graduating from Northwestern University, she began her career as an educator and never lost her passion for teaching and inspiring others. She was an avid reader, animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors are her daughters Karen Gonzalez (Gregory) and Lauren Story (Jason); sons Michael Reed (Chelsea), and John Reed (Tricia); and nine grandchildren.
