Mr. William Carroll Bridgeman, 89, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Divine Savior Catholic Church, 232 Herndon Avenue, York, SC, with Father Adilso Coelho officiating.  The family will receive friends and family from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Bridgeman was born September 21, 1935, in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, to the late Floyd Rufus Bridgeman and Gladys Wooten Bridgeman.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Claudette Irma Faucher Bridgeman.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Lynne Skipper (Troy Thompson), Clover, SC; his sons, William Kevin “Bill” Bridgeman, Mt, Holly, NC, and Scott David Bridgeman (Nancy), Summerville, SC; his grandchildren, Stephen Andrew Whitesides (Stephanie), Geoffrey Rion Whitesides (Jen Withrow), Jesse Bridgeman (Crystal Barone), Anna Caroline Bridgeman, and Liam Bridgeman; his great grandchildren, Luca Bridgeman and Ronan Arthur Bridgeman; his sisters, Betty Wilson and Evelyn Rowland; and his brothers, Charles Bridgeman, Dale Bridgeman, and Mark Bridgeman.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
