Mr. William Thomas Ferrell (Billy), 88, of York, SC, passed away Monday November 6th, 2023 at his home.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, November 8th at 11 am at Christ Ridge PCA, 1070 Gold Hill Road, Fort Mill, SC with the Rev. Michael Dixon officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Mr. Ferrell was born August 22, 1935 in Cayce, SC to the late Elva Oscar and Mary Propes Ferrell.  He was an Air National Guard Veteran.

Survivors are his wife of 68 years, Geralyn Griffin Ferrell; daughter Laurie F. Hawkins (Dennis) of York, SC and son Thomas Rhame Ferrell (Alisha) of Huntersville, NC; eight grandchildren: Wesley Ferrell, Megan H Newbern (Chris), Mandy M Hawkins, Ava Ferrell, Mason Ferrell, Ashlynne Sprague, Oliver Sprague, and Hannah Sprague; and four great grandchildren: Elizabeth Newbern, Eleonor Newbern, Benjamin Newbern, and Finn Newbern.

He was preceded in death by a great grandson, Matthew Alex Newbern.
