I write this with heavy heart... Dori and I were best friends growing up and tho we parted ways as we got older, I never forgot all that we did together with both of our families.. to all the Gooding girls I wish you kind thoughts and togetherness to get you through such sadness... much love... My heartfelt sympathy to you girls. It has been years since I've seen you, but I feel so bad about the losses you have suffered over the past few years, and now Dorie. I am also sending my brother Chuck's condolences. He went to school with Dorie when you lived here and felt bad when I told him she was ill. We will both keep you all in our prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Even though I am an old high school friend of Dori's, some friendships you never forget because of their sincerity.

I got acquainted with Dori on Facebook. We are both from Michigan and we began corresponding after the tragic death of her favorite uncle Ed with whom my husband and I were old friends. Dori was very friendly and fun. I regret that we never met in person. I am shocked to hear of her passing. Thanks to Dori's sister Patti DuFore for giving me the sad news. God bless Dori and her family.

Dear Ron and family... I am so very sorry to learn about your loss of Doris. Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29/1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may seem sometimes insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1). Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences. Please feel free to contact me. JW.org
