Hazel (Clinton) Sims

Hazel Clinton Sims, 93, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at White Oak Manor, York, SC.

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Bethel Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Marcus Van Vlake officiating.  Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday night at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC.

Mrs. Sims was born April 13, 1923 in York County, SC to the late Robert Oscar and Hattie Lynn Campbell Clinton.  She was the widow of A. Wright Sims, Jr. and a lifelong member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.  She was baptized, married and will be buried at Bethel Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are her sons Algie W. Sims, III (Susan) of Charlotte, NC, David C. Sims of Clover, SC, grandchildren Anna S. Caldwell, Mollie S. Lee, Algie W. Sims, IV, great grandchildren Caroline Caldwell, Robert Caldwell, Justin Sims, Allison Sims; 24 nephews and nieces.

The family is very thankful for the loving care provided by White Oak Manor in Rock Hill and York.
